COVID-19 is making a difference in how university studies work. One of the restrictions is the size of the audience at the university, which does not allow all students to attend classes on campus. In response to this reality, EKTU will begin to offer more online and blended courses.
To prepare its teachers for new conditions, EKTU is organizing a two-stage training.
The first stage (theoretical) is completed by taking a massive open online course Теория и практика создания онлайн-курсов on Coursera.
Upon successful completion of the course, a Coursera certificate is issued. The course will cover the following topics:
The second part of the training (practical) is being developed by our Center and will introduce to teachers the Open edX platform which will host the newly created courses; the trainees will practice using services from Google Suite for Education (Google Classroom, Google Docs, etc) and tools for creating video lectures and screencasts.
